i have been shooting a Browning BLR .270 last year and this year. I hunt mostly in Florida and the .270 ballistics are well suited for the conditions here.

I've been using a Remington model 7 / 7mm-08 for the past 16yrs. It has good distance and knock down and it's easy to carry through heavy brush because it's short.

I myself , love the .270 with a good scope ,especially in more open area"s . I did however grow up using open sights , and still do if the situation calls for it.
I also like for the .308 .

dang, that makes me think about my first deer gun. it was a .308 but it was stolen from my apartment years ago.

Thats a shame to have something stolen like that. Ive been fortunate over the years and have only lost some cash to a thief some years ago. I would have been a lot more upset if it had of been one of my rifles that got stolen.
