(Helena, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced today that Chief Plenty Coups State Park will re-open on Monday, November 21 after a temporary closure related to construction updates and maintenance. Underground maintenance and replacement of the fire protection system lines that run from the Chief Plenty Coups Home to the Visitor Center have been taking place. Also, due to flood damage this past spring, Visitor Center basement restoration and flood mitigation work are being completed.
