Flathead area Family Fishing Ponds are now being planted with trout to provide some fishing fun as the weather improves. Dry Bridge Pond, also known as the Sledding Gully, was planted with rainbow trout with help from the Hooked On Fishing (HOF) classes from Hedges and Peterson schools. Shady Lane Pond near Old Steel Bridge has been planted with rainbow and westslope cutthroat trout. Buffalo Head Pond will be planted on April 28 with westslope cutthroat trout with help from the HOF students from Edgerton School.
