Four fishing access sites on the Missouri and Smith rivers closed due to flooding have reopened, a state parks official announced today. Closed in June because of high water, Big Bend, Dunes and Mid Canon fishing access sites on the Missouri south of Great Falls have reopened. On the lower Smith River, Truly Bridge fishing access site is now open. Rising waters flooded the sites or made roads leading to them impassable, says Matt Marcinek, regional parks manager with Fish, Wildlife and Parks.
