Nearly 10,000 acres in the West Swan Valley could soon be conserved if a proposal by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is accepted by the FWP Commission tomorrow. FWP Region One in Kalispell will recommend that the agency pursue a conservation easement, which is one of three proposed actions aimed at conserving former Plum Creek Timber Co. lands in the Swan River State Forest.
