Deer and elk hunters continue to bring in animals at a near average pace along the Rocky Mountain Front, says a state wildlife biologist. 'As slow as the hunt seems to many people,' says Brent Lonner, Fish, Wildlife and Parks wildlife biologist, 'we're not too far off from recent averages for the deer and elk harvest.' Lonner is in charge of FWP's biological game check station in Augusta.
