Despite relatively warm and windy conditions during the last week of the general season, harvest numbers were up at game-check stations around southwestern Montana. Nearly 13 percent of the 2,046 hunters that passed through stations successfully harvested game. This compared to less than 11 percent of 1862 hunters last week.
