Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has been running a lake trout check-in at the north end of Flathead Lake as a convenience for anglers participating in the Mack Days Fishing Event. The check-in has been run from 2 pm to 5 pm at Somers Fishing Access, then 5:30-6 at Wayfarers State Park. Then the creel clerk transports the fish to the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes check-in at Blue Bay.
