Among the changes to Montana's hunting regulations this fall is one that affects mule deer hunters in most of Fish, Wildlife and Parks' Region 4. With the exception of six hunting districts mostly north of Great Falls, hunters cannot take mule deer does with a general deer license in north central Montana. The exceptions are hunting districts 400, 401, 403, 404, 405 and 406. All the rest of Region 4 is off limits to mule deer doe hunters with a general license.
