Helena, MT – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov), a division of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, announced today that Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park is seeking public comment on a proposal to upgrade and improve the water supply, treatment and delivery system to insure safe, uninterrupted water service within the park. Water for the park is currently supplied by a spring within the park along Greer Gulch. This 50-year old delivery system has become unreliable over the years, is inefficient, and the pumps, water storage and water treatment facilities are outdated.
