Heavy rainfall continues to cover most of southeastern Montana. Predictably warmer weather will soon take place bringing snowmelt and runoff with it. Currently prairie tributaries and rivers in southeast Montana are experiencing runoff flows which have caused Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks to close some fishing access sites to protect public safety. These sites will remain closed until water recedes and repairs are made to the damaged infrastructure.
