Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials say weather events this spring and last winter may have significantly reduced upland game bird nesting and production. That is bad news for hunters looking forward to the upland game bird hunting season that begins Sept. 1 for most bird species, and Oct. 8 for pheasants.
