FWP Biologists captured a 5-year old female grizzly bear yesterday near Eureka and moved the bear today to Big Creek in the North Fork Drainage. The grizzly had killed chickens near residences. This grizzly has a past history of killing chickens. Grizzly Bear Management Specialist Tim Manley noted that the female is of breeding age and was not aggressive. The grizzly was fitted with a radio collar so its movements could be followed.
