Thanks to John Howard for the following update:
Although NRA has received many accolades over the introduction of the PowerPoint® presentation with the new Basic Pistol Shooting lesson plans, some have noted that their computer does not include PowerPoint®, or that they use overhead projectors. For those with a computer and without PowerPoint®, you can download a PowerPoint® viewer here.

For trainers that utilize overhead projectors and do not have access to PowerPoint® we have created a PDF version of the presentation which is available on www.nrainstructors.org. After you log in, you can click on the link to each Basic Pistol lesson presentation and print the slides. You can print right to overhead transparency film, or make transparencies with a copy machine. The slides list all the learning objectives for each lesson and other pertinent material. The slides are listed in the right hand column of the lesson plans to cue you when to present them.

As always, please keep your suggestions coming! We thank you for your commitment to firearm education and for participating in the training programs of the NRA!

NRAblog can attest that the Training Department takes NRA Certified Instructors' suggestions to heart. Speak up!
