An 8-9 year-old adult female grizzly bear was captured near Coram on October 16 and released in the Pinnacle Creek drainage of the Middle Fork of the Flathead on October 17. The 300-pound bear had killed and eaten two domestic turkeys inside a coop and also got in to turkey feed. Grizzly Bear Management Specialist Tim Manley has been working with the landowner to secure attractants in the area.
