An adult female grizzly bear was found dead in the North Fork of the Flathead Drainage near Kimmerly Basin. An FWP biologist discovered the bear’s radio-collar mortality signal while on a monitoring flight in the area today. Wardens then went to the site and recovered the bear. The bear appeared to have been dead for several days.
