Phil Schreier and Jim Supica have touched down in West Springfield, MA, for a busy weekend working the NRA National Gun Show. Thanks to Phil for the photo and report!

The NRA's 14th Annual National Gun Show is ready for the visiting public to descend upon the "Big E," or the Eastern States Exposition Center, in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Over 700 trade and display tables are already set up along with nearly 20 display exhibits at the area's largest expo center. Located just down the hill and across the river from the venerable Springfield Armory National Historic Site, this is New England's largest gun show.

Now in its 14th year, the NRA's Annual Gun Show is on of the nation's richest in prize money awards with over $11,000 in cash and trophies for winning exhibits. The Eastern States Exposition Center is located at 1305 Memorial Avenue, West Springfield, MA, and is co-sponsored by the NRA-affiliated Winchester Arms Collectors Association and Mid Hudson Promotions Inc. Show hours are 9 - 5 Saturday and 9 - 3 on Sunday. Sign up or renew your membership in the NRA and you will receive a free pass to the next Mid-Hudson gun show at the Big E.

NRA President Ron Schmeits will be in attendance on Saturday and Sunday, serving as keynote speaker at the Winchester Awards banquet on Saturday evening. Stop by the National Firearms Museum booth and visit with Director Jim Supica and Senior Curator Philip Schreier.
Stay tuned for more from Massachusetts!
