Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Station has a long history of supporting public recreation. Since 1990, Fort Keogh has partnered with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks to allow public hunting through participation in the Block Management Program. Over the previous three hunting seasons, the Fort has provided an average of 1,100 hunter days, while not receiving compensation for the impact hunters have on their land.
