A neat blurb on the 2008 NRA Club of the Year from The Times Reporter.

Folks make a lot of noise at the Tusco Rifle Club, but the organization itself seems to keep a low profile.

But someone has noticed.

Past Trustee Kimberly Hobart traveled to Washington, D.C., recently to accept an award for the club, which was named the 2008 Club of the Year by the National Rifle Assn.

The club is located on 360 acres right outside of Midvale and the members stayed busy in earning this award.

In 2008, over 150 matches and events were held, including an international silhouette competition, five youth events and two Women on Target clinics.
