The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission, on Friday, June 3, approved $603,024 in grant funding for eight new Access and Habitat Program projects to improve wildlife habitat on 7,689 acres and increase public hunting access to 290,031 acres of private lands in Oregon. Of these, two projects totaling $547,724 and providing 190,000 acres of public hunting access are scheduled to be funded through a federal grant awarded to the A and H Program, and are approved conditional on receipt of federal funds. ...
