PRYOR - The 16 th Annual Day of Honor Celebration, featuring Crow storytellers, will be held Saturday, September 4 at Chief Plenty Coups State Park near Pryor. This is a day of cultural sharing to honor the great Apsáalooke (Crow) chief, Plenty Coups. The event includes storytellers, drummers, and dancers; tours of the museum, chief and #39;s house, medicine spring, and burial site; and concludes with a buffalo feast.

BILLINGS - The August 28 th public program at Pictograph Cave State Park, 'Photographing Wild Birds' has been cancelled. The Park's next program, 'Ghosts on the Land: Apsaalooke (Crow Indian) Interpretations of Rock Art,' presented by Tim McCleary, Ph.D., will take place on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

On September 25 and 26, 2010 Montana State Parks in cooperation with the Competitive Trail Horse Association is hosting a Competitive Trail Challenge. The Challenge is open to all riders aged 7 and up.
