Hawks Nest Golf Course, a 9-hole course that offers vistas of the New and Gauley River valleys, opens Monday, April 19. The course has tight mountainside fairways and target greens. It provides an interesting and inexpensive experience for the novice and those that are looking for a change. The golf course will open daily, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Cart and club rentals are available at the pro shop.
