DAVIS, W.Va. – Canaan Valley Resort State Park is celebrating 40 years of skiing opportunity in the mountains of West Virginia with special activities beginning in December. “Four decades of the park offering winter outdoor recreation is a nice milestone,” said Lisa Ratliff, spokeswoman for Canaan Valley Resort. “We’re encouraging people to visit the park and perhaps rediscover the valley for skiing and for scenic beauty.”
